This top 10 most played songs got more than a full year of UK airplay in 2013.
One in four people claim to be more generous when buying Christmas presents if festive music is being played in-store.
85 per cent say the absence of Christmas music would make shopping a much less enjoyable experience.
Three quarters of people agree that hearing Christmas songs when shopping creates a festive atmosphere and gets them into the holiday spirit.
