A group of thugs grabbed a man's laptop, smashed it and then attacked him at Maze Hill train station, police say.
The 27-year-old victim was walking to the station via the main ticket office entrance when he was confronted by a group of youths around 8.40pm on November 24.
They took his computer from his bag and smashed it in front of him. When the victim tried to stop them, a fight a broke out and he was assaulted.
British Transport Police are currently studying CCTV.
PC Michael Willoughby said: "We would like two men to come forward. The first one was black, aged around 18, with short black hair, 5ft 11in, with a London accent, of proportionate build, wearing a dark blue hoodie.
"The second man we want to talk to was also black, 5ft 11in tall, of proportionate build, with a London accent, but with dark dreadlocked hair, and wearing a baseball-style jacket."
