Dognappers have stolen a beloved black Cocker Spaniel from a Chislehurst home.
Thieves swiped the 10-year-old pooch named Brooke from the garden of a house in The Drive overnight between December 2 and 3.
Police have issued an appeal to help track down the thieves and return Brooke to her family, who police say are very upset.
Brooke has a white patch on her chest, a docked tail and is micro-chipped.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Miles Fuller from Bromley police CID said: "The owners are naturally very distressed that their dog has been taken.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Bromley Police's CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
