Draft master plans for Paramount London have been give the thumbs up by more than 80 per cent of people who attended the developer's latest round of consultation events.
A series of public consultation events on the proposed London Paramount Entertainment Resort, planned for the Swanscombe Peninsula, held across north Kent last month were attended by more than 2,000.
The 12 events across Dartford and Gravesham were a first opportunity for local communities and stakeholders to view emerging proposals for the resort, which will include a theme park, water park, sporting facilities and hotels. Eighty-three per cent of the 750 people who filled out feedback forms at the event have praised the plans.
Fenlon Dunphy, on behalf of London Paramount, said: "We felt it was important for local residents and key stakeholders to see how the proposals are evolving and the responses received so far have been encouraging and will help us to further develop our proposals."
