62 per cent of drivers find parking regulations confusing.
51 per cent get stumped by the process of appealing against a parking ticket.
12 per cent of those who have received a parking ticket in the last 12 months got more than one, with men twice as likely as women to receive multiple tickets.
57 per cent of drivers say taking up more than one parking space is the worst habit of other motorists.
Parking in a bay you are not entitled to, such as a disabled space or ambulance bay, and double parking are also bugbears of motorists.
