Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park has launched a campaign to raise funds towards an outdoor wildlife classroom.
The park, in John Harrison Way, is now in desperate need of more space and better facilities to continue the educational and training activities it already offers.
The appeal aims to raise £60,000 via crowdfunding website Spacehive and has already gained support from Twitter and Facebook, as well as the Friends of Greenwich Ecology Park community group.
Senior ranger at the park Joanne Smith said: "We’d just love people to come down and visit us, see what it’s all about and support us in any way they can, from pledging to the campaign, spreading the word or volunteering.
"Every donation, no matter how big or small will help us achieve our goal."
Details of the campaign and how to donate are at spacehive.com/frog
