Youngsters are waiting with bated breath to see what transport Father Christmas takes to Greenwich this year.
In recent years, everyone's favourite festive visitor has rolled up to The Bridge community centre in a fire engine, police transporter - and even an ice cream van.
This time around, the grotto will be joined by a Christmas market, the Halstow Community Choir, hot drinks, mince pies and children's activities throughout the day
If children want to write a letter to Father Christmas on the day, there will be a writing table and post box which Father Christmas will empty and take with him when he leaves.
Centre manager Kelly Salambasis said: "I am sure there will be much anticipation for what this year's grand entrance by Father Christmas holds in store."
The event, which relies on donations to keep going, runs from 11am to 4pm on December 14 at the centre in the south west corner of East Greenwich Pleasaunce.
