Around a quarter of adults in Bromley are drinking to hazardous levels, according to a recent report.
The annual Director of Public Health's report on alcohol consumption identified worrying trends among the drinking habits of residents.
Findings showed one in four adults living in the borough may be drinking to hazardous levels, harming their health.
The report, entitled 'Alcohol?', also estimated 26.4% of adults in Bromley who enjoy a tipple are doing so at high risk levels.
The booziest ward with 76 'hazardous drinkers' per 1,000 people was Darwin, with the least likely to get sozzled was Crystal Palace, with just 25 people out of 1,000 classed as hazardous drinkers.
Figures came from Bromley practice disease registers in 2013.
Launched on November 19, the report also highlighted Bromley's increasing rate of alcohol-related hospital admissions since 2010/11.
The number of under 18s in Bromley hospitalised between 2012/13 for alcohol specific causes was 30.5 per 100,000, which was more than the regional average of London at 29.8.
However, peaks in hazardous alcohol consumption came from the older generations, with those aged 45-75 more likely to drink to excess.
In 2013, out of 815 alcohol related deaths in total nearly half - 45% - came from the 35-44 age bracket.
Dr Nada Lemic, Director of Public Health in Bromley, said: "This is about raising awareness of the health risks associated with even moderate levels of drinking. In raising awareness, we also want to look at how we give residents the tools to understand when they are drinking too much and what they can do to cut down.
"This is about creating a culture that prevents problem drinking from starting and provides help for people should they be struggling."
