Charlton Athletic football players Franck Moussa and Andre Bikey unveiled state-of-the-art sports facilities at a Bromley college yesterday.
The Addicks teammates cut the ribbon at Bromley College on Rookery Lane before sharing their football skills with students in a penalty shootout and military drill practice.
The £4.5 million build, named the Life Centre, includes four badminton courts, a gym, a 60-seat lecture theatre, sports science laboratories and a viewing gallery.
Midfielder Mr Moussa, 25, said: “It’s fantastic to see Bromley College’s excellent sporting facilities on offer to the local community.
“Encouraging young people to get involved in sport is so important and something I and my club very much support.”
College principal Sam Parrett said: “The new facilities will provide a hugely valuable resource for our students and the local community.
“The development has enabled us to offer a wider range of exciting sport courses to our students, including an additional sports science HND course.”
