Eastenders star Linda Henry is set to face trial over claims she hurled racist abuse outside Jamie Oliver's Greenwich restaurant.
The 51-year-old actress, who plays barmaid Shirley Carter in the BBC soap, is facing one charge of racially aggravated harassment.
Henry, whose case is being heard under her married name Valiris, did not appear at Bexley Magistrates' Court yesterday (November 26), but pleaded not guilty via her lawyer.
The case follows an incident outside Jamie's Italian in Nelson Road this September.
A spokesman for the former Bad Girls star, who has appeared in Eastenders since 2006, said: "Linda will be defending the allegation."
Henry, from Southwark, is due to stand trial at the court on February 11 next year.
