A charity toy appeal is asking Dartford and Gravesend residents to donate their spare Christmas presents.
The appeal is on behalf of CHOICES, which provides safe refuge for the woman and children who have had to leave their home as a result of domestic abuse.
Residents and businesses are being asked to donate their new toys and children’s books, along with vouchers, wrapping paper, toiletries and non-perishable food.
The plan is to distribute the treats to the affected children in time for Christmas.
The appeal has been organised by Dartford resident Kelly Goldsworthy.
Drop off points are the Stephen Oliver Studio and Gallery, St Edmund’s Church Living Well and the Darling Buds of May Florist in Dartford, and Stone Parish Council office.
Stone ward councillor Jonathon Hawkes said: "Kelly and her colleagues have really worked hard to launch this appeal and I’d urge everyone in Dartford to get behind it.
"CHOICES do a huge amount of really important work in our local community, providing support to all those who are experiencing domestic abuse.
"Please consider donating a toy to the appeal this Christmas."
