The Mayor of Bromley was on hand to officially re-open pub The Coney.
The West Wickham pub, in Croydon Road, relaunched yesterday and will be welcoming the general public from tonight, Wednesday November 26.
The eatery was forced to close for an astonishing nine months following serious flooding in the area, which saw The Coney still flooded long after water subsided elsewhere.
The basement - where water reached up to three feet in places - was a washout with everything destroyed.
Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Julian Benington, said: "It's so good to see a successful business coming back."
For Stephen May, CEO of Mountain Range restaurants who own the chain, re-opening had a personal undertone as both his grandfather's used to drink there.
He said: "We're absolutely delighted to be open again, and so glad the mayor could come down.
"The reaction from the community has been great."
