West Kingsdown’s skeleton gold medallist, Lizzy Yarnold, has been shortlisted for BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2014 (SPOTY).
The 26-year-old Winter Olympic Champion has been named as one of ten contenders in the running for the sporting accolade.
Othe shortlisted sports stars include golfer Rory McIlroy, footballer Gareth Bale and F1's Lewis Hamilton.
The results will be announced on December 14.
