History was made last week when Darent Valley Hospital welcomed its 50,000th new-born into the world, since opening its doors in September 2000.
Sadie Tansley was born at 1.44pm on Saturday November 15, weighing a very respectable 6lb 4oz.
She had a natural birth in the hospital's delivery suite and was delivered by midwife Tina Cunningham.
Mum Rebecca Tansley and partner Shane Mohan, both 21, were ecstatic and said the milestone capped off a perfect day.
Rebecca Tansley, from Parrock Street, Gravesend, said: "I didn't know until after the birth. It was a bit of a long day. I was induced at 11pm the night before and Sadie was born at 1.44pm.
"As soon as she came out they mentioned it and we had a photograph taken. It was a really nice surprise to cap off a perfect day.
"Sadie's very happy and healthy, she's coming along very well.
"I love being a mum, it's the best feeling ever."

Deborah McAllion, head of midwifery, said: "We are delighted and proud to welcome Darent Valley’s 50,000 baby.
"Since opening in 2000 we have seen our birth rate increase steadily and the services we offer have evolved and developed to meet the varying needs of women in our care.
"We have a team of extremely hard working and dedicated midwives and doctors who strive to provide women and their babies with the best high quality care and a positive pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience.
"We will be marking this special milestone on December 6 with a 50,000 step charity challenge and a celebratory event involving staff, women and their families."
