A 28-year-old man from Northfleet has been charged after a late night police chase started in Dartford and ended up in Sevenoaks.
It is thought a vehicle was picked up by an ANPR camera in Dartford late on Tuesday evening (November 18) before officers tried to flag down the driver.
But the car allegedly took off, leading officers on a chase of around 27 miles.
The suspect reportedly headed coastbound along the A2 before veering south through Cobham, Luddesdown and Vigo, ending up in Sevenoaks via Borough Green and Ightham.
The vehicle was stopped at just after midnight on November 19 in Otford Road, Sevenoaks.
Jagveer Singh Khangura, of Beaumont Drive, Northfleet, has been charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday (November 20) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on December 5.
