Staff and students at Bromley College were dazzled by a dry ice demonstration.
The hungry spectators watched in awe as chefs from the Hospitality, Food and Enterprise Career College whipped up a classic favourite - ice cream.
Using nitrogen, temperatures were plunged to a chilly -78.5°C to create the cold treats, part of Bromley College's open days.
Nearly 1,000 prospective students attended the events at the college's Bromley and Orpington campuses, held last Saturday November 15 and Wednesday 19.
Principal, Mrs Sam Parrett, said: "Our Open Events are always a fantastic chance for people to come along, chat with tutors, meet our students and see just how many pathways to success are available to them."
