A late-night police pursuit tore through Dartford and ended up in Sevenoaks with the arrest of a Gravesend driver.
The 28-year-old was detained in Otford Road just after midnight after being stopped in Dartford earlier in the evening.
It is thought his vehicle was picked up by an ANPR camera before officers tried to flag him down, only for the car to take off, leading officers on a chase of around 27 miles.
The suspect reportedly headed coastbound along the A2 before veering south through Cobham, Luddesdown and Vigo, ending up in Sevenoaks via Borough Green and Ightham.
A Kent Police spokesman said: βA 28-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, failing to provide a specimen and being wanted on two warrants.
βHe is currently in police custody.β
