Plans for the second phase of the £120 million regeneration of the old Larner Road estate in Erith have been submitted to Bexley Council.
Phase one of the Erith Park redevelopment is nearing completion, with the first of 343 homes set to be ready next month.
Developers Wates Living Space and housing association Orbit South have now submitted plans for a further 244 homes to Bexley Council.
The £60 million second half of the project will feature a community centre and a new home for the community nursery.
The council will rule on the application early next year, with work set to start on site in Spring 2015.
Vivien Knibbs, Orbit South executive director, said: “We have been working closely with our customers and stakeholders to shape Erith Park into an inclusive community and transform the high-rise blocks into a neighbourhood of streets, gardens and public space.”
A public exhibition of the planning application drawings will be held on this Saturday from 11am to 2pm at number four, Corhaven House in Larner Road.
