Greenwich police are inviting people to experience police work in a simulated missing person investigation.
Participants will be given a high-risk missing person scenario and, with guidance from officers, will investigate the case.
Greenwich Superintendent Joseph McDonald and PC Greg Herriott welcome anyone interested in police work or curious about how investigations are managed.
Superintendent Joseph McDonald said: "This exercise is about giving the public an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how we manage high-profile investigations.
"It will be interesting to see the public’s perception and it might be they even have some good ideas and feedback."
There will be a questions and answers session at the end for people to discuss their experience and any concerns they may have about policing in their area.
It takes place at St Mary's Community Hall, Eltham High Street on December 5 at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be provided.
Email policegreenwich@met.police.uk including your full name and age. Spaces are first come first served.
