A man has appeared in court in connection with an alleged arson attack on Bickley Manor Hotel.
Peter Blaney, aged 51, of no fixed address, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on November 12 accused of two counts of arson with intent to endanger life.
Emergency services were called to the hotel in Thornet Wood Road at 5.16am on November 5 after a function room at the hotel had been set alight.
A car had gone up in flames in nearby Cloisters Avenue, around three hours earlier.
Blaney was remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court on November 26.
