After 100 years of selling flowers in Greenwich and Woolwich, a florist is shutting up shop for the final time next month.
Manchesters Flowers was originally founded by Elizabeth Manchester at Thomas Street, Woolwich, where it remained for around 50 years.
Later, the family business relocated to Woolwich Road in Greenwich and has been thriving ever since, providing flowers to places like the BBC's Broadcasting House and the British Army, along with everyday blooms for regulars.
But Mr Manchester - grandson of Elizabeth - said a number of factors had persuaded him to close the business after a century of trading.
He said: "I'm 67 just after Christmas and it doesn't get any easier.
"You can't park in Greenwich, you can't get through the traffic with deliveries. But the main reason is somebody wants to buy our building."
Manchesters will close on December 11.
