If you’re on a tight budget this year or just feeling frugal, you might like to know it’s possible to make Christmas dinner for just £2.66 per person.
That may seem like an impossible task but Good Housekeeping magazine has assembled a thrifty basket of shopping to show just how it can be done.
By going around various supermarkets, the whole meal for eight can cost as little as £21.31.
As an added bonus, the cheapest Christmas basket is down three per cent on last year thanks to the battle between the discounters and the traditional big names.
