A 10-year-old boy has been hit by an unmarked police car in Plumstead High Street.
The accident happened at 3.05pm on Saturday (November 14) near to the junction with Ripolson Road.
London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended the scene and a boy, believed to be aged 10, was taken to east London hospital.
The youngster is now at home, after suffering a cut to his head.
A Met police spokesman said: "The police car was en route to an emergency call at the time of collision.
"An investigation into the collision will be carried out by officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit."
Plumstead High Street wasd re-opened by police at 4.55pm.
