A Sidcup man has been jailed for three and a half years after police found cocaine in his underwear.
Jack Andrews, aged 24, of Alder Road pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and was jailed for three and a half years at Croydon Crown Court on November 4.
Andrews had denied the offence, but changed his plea at the start of the trial.
On August 14 2013 on 6.20pm Andrews was stopped while driving a white Mercedes C220 along Perry Street, Chislehurst.
A witness told police that she had seen him throw something from the car around ten metres away.
A dog unit was called to search along the road where the article was discarded.
While waiting for the dog van to arrive Andrews was advised that he was going to be taken back to the Police station for a strip search - he had "A bit of personal on me" indicating it was in his pants.
Andrews then produced a sandwich bag containing cocaine from inside his underwear.
The dog unit found a further sandwich bag containing cocaine from nearby bushes and Andrews was arrested on suspicion of Possession With Intent To Supply Class A Drugs.
A search of Andrews home address uncovered a large amount of money, a roll of sandwich bags similar to the ones that the white powder was in and a quantity of cannabis.
In total Andrews was found to be in possession of over 60 grams of high purity cocaine.
