A tree in Bromley is to be illuminated in memory of the fallen.
The annual Tree of Light event is once again taking place at Bromley Parish Church, in Church Road.
Organised by The Rotary Club of Bromley, residents can dedicate a light in memory of a loved one who has passed away, or a good cause.
This year to mark the centenary of the First World War, people are invited to dedicate a light to those who lost their lives during conflict.
For a minimum donation of £5, people can sponsor as many lights as they like, with proceeds going to The Royal British Legion and charities supported by the club.
In recognition, a named tree or poppy will be placed on a floodlit memorial board in the grounds of the church, which will remain throughout the festive season.
The grand switch on will be done by Deputy Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Kate Lymer, on Saturday November 22 at 4.30pm, with MP Bob Neil also attending.
The Salvation Army Band and free refreshments will accompany the illumination.
