Calling all shepherds to Bromley town centre as the Sheep Trail returns.
Years after sheep were driven through Bromley town centre, the creatures are back in knitted form.
In the run up to Christmas the Sheep Trail hits the streets of Bromley once again.
With each one hand knitted by members of the St Mary’s Church, in College Road, the sheep will be delivered by wheelbarrow to each shop on Friday November 14.
More than a dozen businesses are taking part this year - including banks and theatres.
Each shop will then name their sheep, to be attached to a tag around their neck.
In town for the festive season, local youngsters will have until December 20 to follow the trail collecting all the names for a prize draw at St Mary's Church.
Taking place on December 21, one lucky winner will receive prizes donated by the shops on the trail.
This year's trail is being organised and sponsored by St Mary's Church, in partnership with Bromley Council and the Bromley North Traders' association.
Leaflets with all the shops listed and an entry form can be obtained from Bromley Central Library, Bromley Council or downloaded from St Mary's Church website here: www.stmarys-bromley.org.uk/
