Police were called to Eynsham Drive in Abbey Wood yesterday (November 5) after police received a call about harassment.
Witnesses claimed around 20 to 25 riot police officers armed with shields were seen swarming a block of flats at around 9am.
Police confirmed today they attended at 8.47am, following an allegation of harassment.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of harassment and taken to a south-east London police station.
He has since been released and has been served with a harassment warning.
A man, who did not want to named, drove past the incident and told News Shopper: "There must have been about 20 to 25 old bill.
"They were all over the gardens, climbing walls.
"There were paramedics and an ambulance at the scene.
"It looks like it was some sort of raid."
