81 per cent of the public say financial institutions fail by to communicate clearly, which makes it more difficult to reach good money choices.
77 per cent of the public think the government should do more to report financial information clearly.
45 per cent of people feel confused when receiving financial information.
27 per cent say they cannot explain how an Isa works.
55 per cent say they cannot explain how a credit union works.
77 per cent say they cannot describe what sustainable investments are.
Alarmingly, 19 per cent of people cannot explain what a bank is.
