74 per cent of people in London struggle to get out of bed in the morning – with almost half (49 per cent) reaching straight for the snooze button.
London residents spend an average of 11 minutes in bed after waking.
30 per cent of people immediately check their mobile phone for new text messages.
55 per cent say they use a tablet or mobile device to text, email or read immediately upon waking or just before going to sleep.
More than half of people in London admit to ‘dithering’ at the start of the day.
41 per cent don't feel properly awake until they have had their first cup of tea or coffee.
It takes people in London an average of 19 minutes to feel fully awake in the morning.
