61 per cent of smokers say quitting smoking is one of their lifetime ambitions.
49 per cent of smokers compare the achievement of quitting smoking with learning to drive and 46 per cent compare it to climbing a mountain.
60 per cent of smokers see giving up as a bigger challenge than losing weight.
One in four smokers who achieve their goal of going smoke-free celebrate their achievement by treating themselves with the money they have saved.
