Van catches fire in Gravesend near Cobham Junction
A van caught on fire on the A2 in Gravesend this morning (September 25).
The vehicle was ablaze on the A2 Londonbound near Cobham Junction at around 5.45am and firefighters rushed to the scene.
Kent Fire and Rescue got the situation under control by 6.08am and lanes 3 and 4 were closed until around 8.30am.
Delays continued in the surrounding area for around three hours.
