Colleagues from Sainsbury’s Orpington have given up their time to volunteer and take part in the ice bucket challenge.
Sainsbury’s encourages colleagues to volunteer with charities or within the community and donate as much money as they can.
Many Colleagues have been helping the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on someone's head to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research.
Every colleague who got involved had donated at least £5 via the website or through text. The ALS Association is accepting donations here.
(https://secure2.convio.net/alsa/site/Donation2?df_id=27420&27420.donation=form1) Sainsbury’s Orpington will be uploading their Ice Bucket Challenge Clips on their New Local Facebook page.
