A former Sunday Telegraph journalist who helped expose the MPs expenses scandal has appeared in court charged with rape.
Ben Leapman, formerly of High Street, Eynsford, is charged with three counts, of oral, vaginal and anal rape.
The 44-year-old appeared in front of a jury at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday (June 30).
The former deputy news editor of the Sunday Telegraph moved to Vauxhall in 2012.
The trial commences today.
