Former residents of a Sidcup children's home will be reunited later this year.
The Hollies Children's Home Reunion Group will be holding it's 12th annual reunion on September 13 from 10am until 5pm.
The group was formed in 2002 by Paul Krawczynski, a former child of the home between 1952 and 1965 Mr Krawczynski said: "The aims of the group was and is to helps reunite friends from their time in care to which the group has had great success with not only reuniting friends but bringing together families torn apart in care.
"We offer to our members a chance to get reacquainted with friends help in obtaining their files for their time in care advice on many other aspects of life in care and a friendly helpline to speak to a person who having spent time in care has the real life look on any subject of problem's from then.
"The reunions bring together around about a hundred people each year with some travelling from as far away as Australia. We have also noted that in the last few years former children of Shirley Oaks children's home, Croydon have been attending and all are welcome."
