The family of murdered fusilier Lee Rigby was joined by Woolwich soldiers on Saturday (June 21) in an emotional march to the spot where he died.
Lyn Rigby visited London and made the short trip from Woolwich Barracks to the spot in Artillery Place where her son was brutally murdered by two Islamic extremists last year.
The procession was led by a military band and there was a minute's silence at the spot.
Ms Rigby left a floral tribute at the scene, with a moving card which read: "Remembering you is easy, do it everyday, but missing you is heartache that never goes away. Love and miss you Lee."
Also joining the family were a group of Charlton fans who organised a plaque for the fallen soldier at Charlton's football ground, alongside Lorna Taylor who started a campaign backed by thousands of people for a permanent Woolwich memorial.
Earlier this month, Greenwich Council announced it was in discussions with the Rigby family over a memorial.
