Five years after a 19-year-old student was mown down by a van, shot and stabbed in New Cross, two brothers have been charged with his murder.
Student Johnson Ndjoli was attacked by a group of people on the Woodpecker Estate on April 24 2009 following an argument.
Mr Ndjoli was hit by a van and also received a gunshot wound to the buttocks and knife wounds.
The student spent eight months in a coma before he was pronounced dead in January 2010.
Brothers Dwight Callender, aged 27, formerly of Mercator Road, Lewisham, and Derrell Callender, aged 25, of Leybridge Court, Eltham, were jailed for attempted murder in December 2009.
And today (June 23) they appeared at the Old Bailey charged with murder.
The pair were remanded in custody to reappear in court on July 3.
