Catford's street market is back with a bumper event next week to mark completion of works on the Broadway.
On June 27, the permanent street market will be joined by an authentic European market comprising more than a dozen stalls selling food and clothing accessories.
And June 28, will see a much larger Catford market than normal, including several traders brand-new to the town centre selling clothing, homeware, jewellery, along with street food.
There will also be music over the lunchtime period, and a chance to find out what’s coming up for Catford.
Over the past year, Catford Broadway has been completely refurbished in a £2.1m scheme, with new seating, lighting and trees and a new layout with space for extra market stalls and more seating outside the shops.
Lewisham Council says the extended market could be a regular feature if it proves popular.
