X Factor winner Sam Bailey is hoping to climb a new chart - after signing a book deal for her autobiography.
She will be making a bid for the bestseller lists when her memoir is published in November, as she jostles for a place in the lucrative Christmas book market.
The book will come out as this year's series nears its conclusion as judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Mel B lead the search for the next winner of the ITV show.
Former prison officer Sam, who grew up in Bexley, scored a number one with her debut single Skyscraper and her album The Power Of Love went on to top the album chart.
Publisher Blink said the singer - who is expecting her third child later this year - will " talk openly and honestly about her rise to fame" in the book.
Sam said: "The last year has been such an amazing journey for me. I feel so lucky, excited and privileged to be able to share it with everyone."
