A Dartford musician is savouring life in the spotlight after performing alongside up and coming acts including The Voice contestant Elesha Paul Moses.
Jak Coleman, aged 23, of Cowdrey Court is hoping for his own big break with hip hop metal band, Cyphar.
The five-piece have just released their debut album, Cryptology at a launch show at London’s award winning live music venue, Barfly in Camden.
Jak who works as a sale assistant at The Entertainer in Bexleyheath's Broadway Shopping Centre said: "We’ve been gigging all over London and recently performed on the same bill as Elesha Paul Moses’ band Hyperreal at a show in Canterbury as well as Black Futures, who have supported The Prodigy.
"We are hoping that by promoting our album and performing in other cities across the UK, our music will really take off. It would be a dream to get signed."
As well as Jak, the band is made up of Martin Buchanan on vocals, Rob Fox on guitar and vocals, Dan Farrugia on drums and percussion and Mateusz Dzienski on scratch / samples.
The album launch will be followed by a digital release on iTunes and Spotify.
