A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in Lee.
Police were called to Baring Road at around 6.40am today to reports of a stabbing.
Ambulance crews took the victim, in his 20s, to a south London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
It is believed he sustained his injuries during an altercation inside a Baring Road property in the early hours of the morning.
Chauffeur Matt Jones was driving past the scene at around 11am.
He told News Shopper: “There were loads of police and ambulances. It looked really bad.
“It was all taped up.
“There was a 202 bus which had been all taped off and there were loads of forensics people taking photos.
“I thought maybe it was someone who had had a heart attack on the bus but now I know it was a stabbing.”
Met police officers remained at the scene until 1pm with road closures in place. These have now been cleared.
No arrests have been made.
