There are just three days to go until Widehorizons' Nightline charity walk. DAN KEEL rounds up everything you need to know about an event designed to bring smiles to the faces of the area's youngsters through a huge array of outdoor educational activities.
Walkers across south-east London and north Kent are making final preparations for their 50km night time charity walk.
A grand total of 148 News Shopper readers have signed up to the magical nightime walk which will see them trek through the striking urban landscapes of London and into the gorgeous countryside of Kent.
Next week we will bring you photos and reaction from the event.

WHERE IS MY MONEY GOING?
Charity Widehorizons provides life-changing adventures for children and young people.
Currently, 80 per cent of people in the UK live in urban areas meaning many are becoming disengaged with the natural world around them.
Widehorizons offers day visits and residential courses to schools.
Additionally, they also offer an Outreach Programme where Widehorizons' tutors bring adventure to schools, using even the smallest of outdoor spaces to help children learn.
WHAT'S PROVIDED ON THE DAY?
- An arrowed course
- Event management and safety
- Water and feeding stations
- Shuttle bus back to start locations
- A hot breakfast on the finish line
- A welcoming and friendly atmosphere
- The chance to see three Widehorizons centres
