A Gravesend business owner has set his sights on adding a touch of 'cool' to the town by dowsing his property in Shoreditch-style street art.
Akbal Randhawa, aged 41, podiatrist and owner of The Foot Clinic in Old Road West has commissioned popular street artist, Kayleigh Doughty - better known as Artista - to add a touch of colour to his building.
Mr Randhawa describes the colourful design as "cartoon-like" and "dreamy".
He said: "I wanted something that would bring a smile to people's faces and even in the depths of a British summer would make them feel as though summer was here..
"People have said I should have advertised my own business.
"There are a few feet on there but that's more part of the creation - I think art should be art in its own right."
Mr Randhawa was inspired by street art seen all over Shoreditch and Hackney and wants to see other businesses brighten up the town.
He added: "It's something I've been wanting to do for a long time.
"I've had a lot of people coming in and saying how great it looks."
