Police were called out to Abbey Wood at the weekend after reports a man was threatening his neighbours with a gun.
Officers were dispatched to Eynsham Drive on June 7 at around 6.15pm.
Following their arrival, 22-year-old Damien Shadbolt was arrested.
He was subsequently charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Shadbolt was due to appear at Bexley Magistrates' Court today (June 9).
