FIRE crews tackled an Greenwich recycling plant blaze for more than five hours at the weekend.
Four fire engines went to the scene in Horn Link Way with 21 firefighters and officers from Greenwich, Plumstead and Lee Green fire stations.
The brigade was called out on Saturday afternoon (January 11) at 10.31am but the fire was not under control until 4.04pm.
A large amount of household waste was destroyed in the blaze but nobody was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
