IT WAS like being at the Oscars when Barrington Primary School children performed its Christmas production.
The Stars Came Out was based on an awards ceremony in which each of the elements of Christmas are paraded to see which will win the top spot as the most important at Christmas.
The angel wins hands down after telling the Christmas story which ends in a traditional Nativity scene.
Children aged four to seven from the school in Barrington Road, Bexleyheath, took part, with the older children providing the choir.
More than 100 children gave three performances for parents and friends.
