Local charity Trust Thamesmead are calling for your votes to help them, together with London Wildlife Trust and Gallions Housing Association, to win £50,000 for Thamesmead in this year's ITV People's Millions contest.
The money, should they win it, will be ploughed into their Wild About Thamesmead project which will help to breathe life back into Thamesmead's derelict nature reserve, Tump53 which is based off Bentham Road in central Thamesmead.
This a contest, the project with the most phone votes, wins.
The phone line is open today only until midnight. To back this cause, which will benefit everyone in Thamesmead and the surrounding areas, please dial 0871 626 88 52*.
Tune in to ITV's 6 o'clock evening news to see a short film about the project - you may even recognise a face-or-two.
