Mother-of-a-bride Vicky West, from Eltham, said: "I attended Hall Place with my daughter who was looking at wedding venues in the area in the spring and we spent three hours meeting with different wedding companies.

"Fortunately there’s a cafe where we had a lovely afternoon tea and went through some of the details and then decided to go back in!

"Her wedding isn’t until next year and we still have much to book so her bridesmaids are coming this time. As it's free, we will go mob-handed and then for an early dinner at the Jacobean."
