CREATIVES are in for a treat with the return of a long-running festival in Deptford.
Contemporary arts festival, Deptford X, brings together some of the greatest artists in the world with exhibitions and installations popping up in all kinds of places including telephone boxes.
There will be 35 fringe events taking place within a half mile of Deptford Town Centre including open studios and even a pub art quiz in the Dog and Bell in Prince Street.
The festival aims to promote the area and local artists as well as those from further afield.
It was formed by the creative community and is London’s longest running contemporary visual arts festival – it has been experienced by over one million people since beginning in 1998.
Deptford X runs from October 27 to October 6.
