A GROUP of Charlton fans are hoping to raise £500 for a memorial to Woolwich's murdered soldier Lee Rigby.
Drummer Rigby was hacked to death in Artillery Place on May 22 in an attack that shocked the world.
Now a number of Addicks fans are fundraising to get a memorial stone they can place outside The Valley as a permanent reminder of what happened that day.
In the weeks following the killing, thousands of tributes were left to the soldier outside the barracks from across the community.
Numerous people, groups and businesses have raised money towards military charities since that day.
