FIRE broke out again at the Waste4Fuel site in St Paul’s Cray last night.
As these pictures show thick smoke filled the air as firefighters battled the blaze in the mounds of rubbish.
Four fire crews were called at about 8.15pm yesterday (July 16) and were there until 10.45pm.
A crew then visited the site in Cornwall Drive earlier this morning to check the premises and it appears to be okay.
Last night’s fire was reportedly the seventh blaze at the premises in four months, including a nine day blaze in mid-March.
Waste4Fuel has been served with an environmental permit suspension notice by the Environment Agency and had been told all combustible waste had to removed from the premises by June 10.
It is believed this deadline has now been extended until September.
